Was an onsite interview with 3 managers that I would be working with. Then had a call with the procurement manager where the conversation was very fluid as we got to know each other.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Teledyne FLIR in Nov 2025
Interview
Took 2 months for them to even reach out, another 2 weeks to schedule a phone call with the recruiter, the initial interview took less than 10 minutes. Was just to see if I had a pulse. 3 weeks after that was the first interview with the hiring manager, I was a good fit for the role and was told that we would be moving forward. Then radio silence for another 2 weeks and I was notified that the location of the role was moving (annoying but not a huge problem as it was mostly travel anyway). A week later I was told the requirements for the role had changed and I was no longer being considered.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Teledyne FLIR (Santa Barbara, CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
Standard phone call -> Hiring Manager -> Panel Interview. The hiring manager interview asked a lot of questions about interest in the technology itself at the company, and it seemed like he was fishing for true passion about the technological process of building cameras

Question 1
They asked me about the process for building out a complex project schedule where you have multiple stakeholders, and a tight deadline that would require extreme coordination between project team members.
