I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot
Interview
Participated in a on-campus group interview a few days after the career fair. As a group, we had to complete a code unscrambling problem as well as a software design problem. Afterwards, we were individually allowed to ask questions about THD with the employees.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: Given ~30 code fragments, order the fragments so that they create a functioning piece of code.
Lots of behavioral questions and a technical question unscramble focusing on understanding your collaboration skills and communication skills done with another interviewee. Priority here is to show the interviewer you can work well in a team.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Zoomvliet) in Nov 2024
Interview
One HR phone call: how much experience in this or that language? tell me about your projects. Etc etc
One technical round: You and at least one other person perform a pseudocode scramble style question where you are tasked with organizing the pieces so that they build an app. (They are looking for thought process and teamwork here)
They also give you a case study to perform.
The interview process was simple and well organized. Got a call back the day after applying to schedule an online interview. Enjoyed the process of interviewing with the Home Depot
