We appreciate your feedback and sorry about any confusion in what we do! We actually ENCOURAGE marketing, public relations and communication graduates to apply to our company to get first hand experience in the sales and marketing field. Since we are a third party marketing and promotions company that works for Fortune 100 industries, we get to represent corporations that are recognized as the best in the nation. We represent multiple clients (not just one) and since they are national corporations, we are responsible for the implementation and expansion of the great marketing campaigns that our clients have created for us. They've done their research and we have provided feedback to them on what has worked best in this market.
Unfortunately, it appears that many people who are new to the career of marketing and sales do not realize that they are one in the same. The very meaning of marketing is "the act of buying or selling in a market" (according to dictionary.com), so our clients know that whatever they invest in marketing campaigns results in sales revenue, which is the reason why we are so good at what we do! It's also the reason why we're constantly looking for new talent, because we've doubled in size the last 6 months. Those who are familiar with sales and marketing know that these two words are connected, so we do apologize for those who are new to this field who might not be clear in what marketing and sales is all about. We always make sure that people know before they even come in for an interview that we conduct in-store marketing and promotions. We do welcome college grads with marketing degrees and we have found those who are into "sports-minded marketing" (NOT to be confused with sports management) do very well because of our competitive, team-based work environment. Our team members learn the ins and outs of how a marketing company works and as our employees move up into leadership and management positions, we believe that those with marketing degrees will definitely learn everything they need to know about running a company like Top Quality Solutions. Again, we appreciate your feedback!
