I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Two Sigma (New York, NY)
Interview
I had one phone screen and one phone interview before actually going on site. Both of the phone interviews were quite pleasant and the people on the phone were really easy to talk to. They told me to prepare 3 hours for my onsite interview; However, it ended up being one hour. The first person I spoke to kind of alluded to the fact that they already may have found someone they want to fill the position and that this interview was basically pointless. She said "if this doesn't work out for some reason, we're going to keep your resume on file for future positions, and I really mean that!" I thought that was strange-- it has certainly never happened to me before, and I found it quite off-putting. It definitely made me feel like they were wasting my time. The interviewers were very friendly, though.

Question 1
What are some strengths you could bring to this position?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Two Sigma
Interview
It was a series of interviews broken up over a few days. Each interview was with a different person from a different team in HR. It was very smooth and simple as well as insightful to be able to hear different backstories as well as responsibilities across HR.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had a negative interaction with a coworker.
My interview process was relatively straightforward with an initial screening call and two more in-depth rounds. Although I ultimately did not receive an offer, I was really impressed with the candidate experience; if the candidate experience at all reflects the employee experience, I would gladly interview for another role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Two Sigma in Apr 2017
Interview
I got a phone screening right after I applied online. I prepared carefully but the representative wouldn't let me finish my sentences and couldn't wait to ask the next question. They asked quite common questions but just didn't listen to my answers. Sounds like they got to finish this quickly and rushing to something else. I got a rejection the same day.
The person also wasn't professional in email communications. Bad experience. I could feel the poor management at least in this department.
