A day after I submitted my resume, I was sent a link to the Uber Analytics test, which I had to complete within 24 hours of receipt of the email. The majority of the test was Excel-based, with a few short essays included. You can Google to find out more information about the test. Reviewing pivot tables helped me a lot. The next day, I was given a call by HR, who conducted a short interview with questions about my resume, why Uber, etc. Basic stuff. A couple of days later, I was sent an email letting me know I had passed the next stage: a 2-hour interview with 4 different people. The interviewers each had a different approach to their questions, depending on their respective job roles. I got asked the "If you were to launch Uber in you city, what would you do?" question. I was also asked to estimate the number of drivers and riders in my city were Uber to launch here, which I had no clue how to answer.
For the most part, the interviewers were nice, except for the last one, who looked bored, sleepy, and very uninterested. He yawned a number of times and really didn't look like he gave a damn. His was also the shortest interview.
