I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verafin
Interview
No interview, just a pre-screening call and an automated rejection response. Basic questions, but it was awkward because I felt like I was talking to myself. I could hear the other person typing the whole time and they didn't always respond as if they actually heard what I was saying. They were very friendly otherwise, and I would say it's no fault of theirs if they are stuck in this pre-screening process that is just a glorified survey.
Why bother calling potential employees if you're not going to actually have a conversation? And then send a generic, automated rejection response two weeks later.
I've always heard good things about Verafin and have thought I would enjoy working there for years. I'm very surprised at this disrespectful hiring process.
Again, this is at no personal fault to the person I was speaking to, who was very friendly, and who, I imagine, was stuck trying to transcribe technical responses from a string of other candidates as well.
It was Easy going, felt more like a conversation than an interview. Very basic technical questions, they questioned me more so about my current experiences. Receptive to me asking them questions
Phone Screening was simple process just a formal call to get to know you. The HR called and it was just a normal call to get to know me and my tech stack.
