The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Vestal, NY) in Mar 2012
Interview
I went to the store and asked for the application. After filling it out, the lady asked me a few questions on the spot. She asked: "Why Victoria's Secret?", how many hours was I looking for, am I available on holidays, told me about the shits/ hours of the store. She said she would keep my application on file and would call in a week or two.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
