The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Wayne, NJ) in Sept 2010
Interview
After answering preliminary questions I was asked to come in for a one on one interview. The hiring manager had only been working at the location for a few months. She complimented my shoes and proceeded to tell me how she had been with the company for ten years. She asked about my goals and how long I would be with the company. She was looking for someone who could see Victoria's Secret as a career choice.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
