      Overnight Stocker Interview

      6 Feb 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Camarillo, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Vons (Camarillo, CA)

      Interview

I had applied at Vons multiple times over a few years before I was called for an interview. When I went for the interview I waited in the break room until the manager called me into his office. The only questions he asked me were very straight forward and mostly yes or no questions about my background and about the job. Most of the interview was actually him giving me information about the job. He gave me a choice between being a bagger and an overnight stocker. Anyone who works during the day needs to have a short, conservative haircut, so that's why I said I wanted the overnight job. I told the manager that I chose the overnight job because I didn't want to cut my hair short and that might be why they didn't hire me.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Vons (Las Vegas, NV)

      Interview

You apply online, but I suggest seeing the store manager first and introducing yourself. They will tell you to just apply online, but you get them to see you. Then they have you interview with the person in-charge of that. Then you interview with the store manager. If interested, they drug test you, then have you get started.
