I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at WWEX Group in Apr 2011
Interview
I was recruited by an outside agency, had a phone interview with them before being accepted for a in-person interview. I arrived there and actually had a 2 on 1 interview. They challenged everything I had experience in and basically made me feel like a complete loser and that their job is extremely important. They explained how demanding the job would be with going from business to business cold calling. I think they just tried to challenge/scare me to see if I was really serious about the opportunity. They said the base salary would be 40k and that most first year make around 50k with commission. From the other reviews on here that I've read it looks like most people don't make it a full year. I was accepted to the next step for a field day. You drive around with a sales representative and basically experience a whole day in the position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WWEX Group (Baltimore, MD) in Apr 2018
Interview
Phone screen interview w/ recruiter. In person interview with regional sales manager. The manager seemed either inexperienced or awkward or completely new at interviewing which required I take the lead. Even while I was sitting in the lobby waiting to be called for my interview some geeky looking sales rep shouts across the room, "who are you?". As if he wanted me to shout back at him. Also, there was a $25 parking fee and the manager assured me it would be reimbursed. After telling the recruiter that I decided to go with other opportunities, he never called or emailed me back in regards to the parking reimbursement.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at WWEX Group (Woburn, MA)
Interview
It was a very quick process. It required a short phone interview, a person to person interview, and then a "day on the field," with the supervisor and another outside sales rep.
