I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Whirlpool Corporation (Benton Harbor, MI) in Jun 2016
Interview
From getting the phone call from the recruiter to the time I accepted the offer took 3 months.
I was approached by Whirlpool's recruiter on LinkdedIn, and a phone interview was scheduled a couple weeks later with the hiring manager, it basically went through my resume and I shared what I did for my current and previous jobs. The hiring manager also spent quite some time to introduce the organization structure and how he would expect the output from a successful candidate.
And then after a few days I was invited to have an onsite interview in Benton Harbor. I flew there the night before and also took an one-hour neighborhood tour before the interview. I met with 5 people during the interview and that was a fun experience.
The offer was made three weeks after the onsite interview, and after another week of negotiation, I accepted it.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Whirlpool Corporation
Interview
After the time of phone interview in May, didn't hear from anyone for more than 2 months even though the hiring manager said he would get back to me in a week or two. The recruiter said not to follow up if I don't hear from them. How odd?!
