I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Wits Solutions in Sept 2025
Interview
There really was no "interview." Just a call asking if I could work onsite five days a week. I asked about benefits and compensation and the recruiter was more than disingenuous about both. He never told me what their benefits were, only that they were the standard. He also told me that a former colleague was joining the project. I called that person and she said he was told he never would. These are both major red flags. Upon disclosure of the salary, I explained that it was below what I was asking and what I required for commute expenses. There was no movement, even after telling them I had a better offer from another company. I am now with that other company with a better salary and MUCH better benefits than have been reported to be offered by Wits on Glassdoor.

Question 1
Whether I would take the job for less than I was making before and work onsite instead of remote.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Wits Solutions (Washington, DC) in Oct 2021
Interview
Was called out of the blue at 5pm about a position. I was asked questions that are all clearly already answered on my resume if someone took even 2 minutes to look at it. When asked my salary expectations, they were met with an actual grunt and then replied if i was willing to negotiate lower. For their manager position, they are looking at a bargain basement salary.
I was then asked if I would be avail after 6pm (same day) to speak w a manager. When I answered "no", the person was very rude with a "well why not". I then proceeded to give my schedule when I would be available. Later that evening i emailed and withdrew my name from being a candidate.
The next day, one of the managers called me and said he wanted to call me anyway even though he saw that I withdrew. Keep in mind he called me outside of any of the times I had even previously said I would be available.
Both the manager and the initial caller both had aggressive attitudes and were highly unprofessional. Avoid dealing with them at all costs!!
