I was contacted through LinkedIn by a very nice recruiter. After a Zoom call with him, I was excited about the company. I then had a Zoom call with the hiring manager, who wasn’t as positive. He told me at the very beginning that we had a half hour scheduled, but it probably wouldn’t take that long. He seemed disinterested right away, even though I’m qualified in experience and come from a company with a similar culture. I was surprised to be invited to the next round of interviews right away, however. I was first asked to do a prospecting exercise, to which I devoted a lot of effort. Only one of the interviewers mentioned reading it, and he said he was very impressed with it. The final interviews were three consecutive half hour Zoom calls with team leads. Two of the three were very enthusiastic about wanting to work with me, and said I would be a great fit. I sent thank you notes to everyone, and heard nothing until I got a rejection form letter 8 days later. The letter said I could keep looking for other open positions, but I’m perfectly suited for this one and was still rejected, so I will sadly give up on Workato. I asked the recruiter for feedback but didn’t get a response.
