I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Workleap (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2023
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me and we had a screening interview, then I went on to have a technical interview with two interviewers. The interview was very pleasant, relaxed, and I felt like it went well, but I got a rejection. Overall this seems like it's a nice company to work for and despite not receiving an offer I don't regret interviewing with them.
Additional info: I had a second interview with them and I had to solve a coding challenge, which I did and while all test cases were passing I still got a rejection. After the code was submitted there was an interactive coding session where I had to modify it to accommodate for new rules, which I also did successfully.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were some specific questions regarding software architecture and solving certain technical issues.
The coding test was about moving specific marked train cars identified by letters from different tracks to another in multiples of three, while also moving the ones that weren't marked out of the way.
