I applied online. I interviewed at Zipdrug (Uni) in Nov 2020
Interview
Had a tech screen, phone screen, then a 4 hour final round. One (very easy) whiteboarding, two system design, and two behavioral with company leads.
Genuinely thought it went well, but I received an automated rejection email after 2 days. Recruiter was unavailable for comment.
Either way, I wouldn't recommend them, especially since it seems they make a habit of doing this to people (see other posts).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
System design - Design a database to handle a large number of reads/writes?
Whiteboarding - parse a string, navigate a nested (tree) object.
The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Zipdrug (New York, NY)
Interview
There is first a phone screen where they draw you in with lies and false promises. They will promise you insane commission and immense growth but do not fall for their lies.
Next is an in person interview where they see if you’re the right fit and continue to feed you more lies. They explain their horrible and scammy product and see if you can comprehend what they are setting out to achieve (scamming old people).
Then they will call you with the offer and before you know it you are a full blown telemarketer when they sold you on how this is an inside sales job.
STAY AWAY
