My experience interviewing for a PAT Tester role at Bet365 was disappointing from start to finish.
The interview started late with no explanation, which didn’t give the best first impression. I was told I’d hear back by the end of that same week — but over three weeks went by with no contact. Even after emailing to follow up, I was ignored until I chased again, at which point I finally received a short rejection. The lack of basic communication and respect for candidates’ time was frustrating.
The role was advertised as offering a “competitive” salary, but the actual figure offered was just £28k. That’s simply not competitive for a job that involves managing the PAT testing process across multiple sites.
Overall, the experience felt disorganised, unprofessional, and misleading. I expected more from a company of Bet365’s size and profile. Based on this process, I wouldn’t be in a rush to apply again.
