I had left the environmental testing industry several years back and this job would have me re-entering the field. They asked me if I had it in me to undertake the transition back into the field and what I would perceive being the biggest obstacle with my return.

I simply told them that there was no obstacle too big for me to handle. If you put a good team in place andd know where the appropriate resources are you can handle almost anything. Less
Tell me about a time you showed compassion to a coworker of a different background or culture than yours? How did you make them feel comfortable and supported?

I had a coworker that I worked with for several years who praticed a religion that required her to fast during the day and it was very tiring for her. We tried to help get her her breaks and relieve her of whatever we could to help her out. She also took a month off every other year to visit India and we would help cover her weekends and holidays so she could go. She couldn't eat pork so we always tried to make sure when we had carry ins or pot lucks that we avoided pork foods. I also learned how to say Eid Mubarik, which is similar to Merry Christmas for their holiday! Less
