The interviewer showed me a hand drawing of a memory element containing a control gate and a floating gate and asked me to describe how such a device would operate.

The memory depends on charge entering the floating gate through Fowler-Nordheim tunneling from the drain when the control gate is active to a high degree. When the control gate is less active, a channel forms which allows the reading of the state of the floating gate. When charge is present, a logical 1 is stored in the memory element. Less

Questions asked by both rounds of interviews are very standard interview questions like 'tell me about yourself', 'tell me about your career aspirations', as well as 'why do you want to join us?'. Very straightforward. Because the working location is very secluded, working environment is very stressful (as highly emphasized by the interviewers), and working hours are long and erratic (9am-9pm for 3 months, 9pm-9am for following 3 months and so on), they are looking more at how willing you are to join them.
