Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for payment and treasury-related initiatives.
• Prepare detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Technical Specification Documents (TSD), process flows, data mapping, interface specifications, and end-to-end traceability matrices.
• Analyze and support implementation of payment messaging standards including ISO20022 payment formats such as pain.001 and pain.002, ensuring compliance with banking and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with development and integration teams on payment processing workflows, transaction lifecycle management, reconciliation, and exception handling scenarios.
• Support integration and analysis of SWIFT messaging formats including camt.053, camt.054, and/or MT94x statements and reporting messages.
• Participate in solution design discussions for treasury and banking API integrations, including authentication and security mechanisms such as JWT and secure API communication standards.
• Perform impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility assessments for system enhancements, regulatory changes, and transformation initiatives.
• Design and execute test strategies, test cases, SIT/UAT support, defect tracking, and validation activities to ensure solution quality and business readiness.
• Coordinate with regional business users, vendors, infrastructure teams, and project managers to ensure timely delivery and successful deployment of solutions.
• Support production issue analysis, root cause investigation, and operational improvements related to payment processing and treasury systems.
• Ensure documentation, processes, and solutions comply with internal governance, audit, security, and banking regulatory standards.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement clarification sessions with stakeholders across business and technology domains.

Preferred Experience

• Strong understanding of payment processing, transaction banking, treasury operations, and exception management within banking environments.
• Hands-on experience with ISO20022 payment messages and SWIFT standards.
• Exposure to Core Banking systems and treasury platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with messaging middleware/infrastructure such as MQ is an added advantage.
• Experience working in multinational banking environments or Japanese financial institutions is preferred.

Pay: $8,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
