I have been working at MNP LLP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive salary and benefits, fair bonus, all tools we need to accomplish our work, and, mostly, great people (between partners, managers and staff).

    Cons

As most of accounting firms, we should be ready to work around 50 hours per week,

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at MNP LLP (Montreal, QC (Canada)).

    Interview

Not really relevant anymore as was long prior to merger. But overall experience was positive, discussed goals and prior experience, education. One on one discussion with the HR Manager and then one of the partners. I believe the recruitment process for juniors has been formalized since then, although seems to still be a pleasant process.

    Interview Questions

    • How my prior work experience would be relevant to accounting work   Answer Question

    Negotiation

Opening salaries for juniors are fairly industry standard. Negotiation is more likely once the employee has proven themself to a certain degree.
