      I applied online. I interviewed at Evolent (United States) in Sept 2023


      This review is based on my phone screen experience with a recruiter, consisting of two conversations. During our initial call, despite my state's salary transparency laws, the recruiter declined to disclose the salary range. I suggested she consult her superiors for details, to which she responded, 'So you're not interested in the role?' Requesting salary transparency for a Compensation Analyst position apparently implied disinterest. I later had to initiate contact to follow up on the range, and our phone screen was rescheduled. During the rescheduled call, obtaining information about the role was challenging. This led me to believe she engaged out of obligation rather than genuine consideration for the opportunity. There wasn't a moment when she focused on promoting Evolent as a preferred employer. After the call, I provided direct feedback to the recruiter. I was not selected to proceed further, which was not surprising. However, I felt compelled to share my experience here to advocate for candidates. The candidate experience reflects on the company, and it's crucial for recruiters to provide necessary details to aid candidates in making informed decisions during interviews.
