I worked at Harrods full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I made a lot of good friends here. The team is young, diverse and hard working. Management was away a lot of the time but this gave us independence which was good for growth. I learnt a lot and having had only one proper job before Harrods, I now feel well equipped to take any job on. I do miss working here.

    Cons

There was a lot of pressure from the buyers to complete work with unrealistic deadlines. Some of the buyers wanted me to do their job. Management did not let me know of any ways I could move up whereas the buyers had a lot of training etc regarding management programmes

    Advice to Management

Communicate with your team about how they can progress in their role.

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Harrods (London, England (UK)).

    Interview

Phone call, then interview with salon manager, then another which will include a trade test, then another interview at Hammersmith which was a group interview.

Group interview gave us each a random pic and asked us to present and sell. Had to stand up infront of everyone and do this. Introduce self etc.
