InSight Health Services (dba Insight Imaging) knows what lies within the hearts, brains, and pancreases of men. The company offers diagnostic imaging services to wholesale and retail customers in some 30 states. It mainly provides MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) services, but also offers CT (computed tomography) and PET (positron emission tomography) scanning, as well as conventional X-ray, mammogram, and ultrasound services. Customers include hospitals and physicians, as well as insurance payers and Medicare or Medicaid programs in the West and Southeast, as well as New England and the mid-Atlantic region. InSight Health restructured and emerged from bankruptcy protection in 2011.
