Company Updates
NCSDedicated to creating a positive impact on our community, we organised a community event earlier this week for students and school leaders from Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE) schools, with the aim of empowering students with essential coding skills. Held at NCS Hub for 45 Secondary 1 to 3 students from 15 different secondary schools in Singapore, the dynamic 4-day digitalisation enablement programme featured a Python coding bootcamp and NCS learning sessions. This could not have been done without Ministry of Social and Family Development, Singapore (MSF)’s ComLink Social Service Office’s and MOE Partnership Engagement Office’s unwavering support.
NCSWe’re honoured to receive the NS Advocate Award for Large Companies, presented at the Total Defence Award (TDA) 2023. This is the highest national accolade that recognises organisations for their outstanding support towards strengthening the defence of our nation. Sam Liew, Managing Partner for Gov+ and Kwang-Wi Koh, Partner for Defence Client Service Unit, received the award at the TDA dinner on 20th November. We’re thrilled to have the following initiatives recognised in supporting the NS Agenda: 👉 Internal rededication on SAF day where we reaffirm our dedication to national defence and top-performing NSmen are recognised for their contributions. 👉 Working arrangements to provide work-life balance for NSmen and their family. 👉 An AI-powered gym that provides gym classes and personalised training programme to help our NSmen maintain fitness. Pros
Improved working environment with many more employee friendly amenities and facilities, Vibrant and engaging work culture. Leaders are very inclusive. Transformation is a given and I believe it is for the better. Staff needs to understand corporate direction and transform together.
Cons
There are many practices in NCS which can commonly result in confusion on who to engage and navigate around. Thankfully, the leaders are knowledgeable and can help staff to navigate and lay the path forward.

Round 3) Technical Interview by a person from singapore - lasted for 1 hours - selected
Round 4) Technical Interview by a person from Singapore - lasted for 1 hours - selected
Round 5) Director round
After general introduction, Asked whether you are working as Individual Contributor
I said Yes
then he asked another rest api question
and ended the interview in less than 15 mins

I was rejected in 5th round
I wasted all my time and energy with ncs interview rounds
Advice - Never go for the long set of rounds(except for FAANG :))
