I worked at Prosper.com full-time

Pros

* Entry-level positions allow promotion to other departments ( e.g. customer service, specialist or customer escalation team, outbound sales, investors, fraud team or verification loan agent ). *

Cons

* Outsourcing of Job duties causes misinformation between Primary work office and 3rd party sources -- which affects customer service reliability.

Advice to Management

* There needs to be a more open-ended transparency with *some managers* -- who are *vindictive* to professional criticism. * Training more in line with the techniques employed by Dr. Stephen R.

    Staff Software Engineer Interview

    Anonymous Employee in United States
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview
    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Prosper.com (United States)

    Interview

    1. bait & switch hiring
    2. random call from someone who works there, tells me I'm not staff level and more of senior level without any sort of assessment
    3. brags about having to take a pay cut because being a "top paying employee"
    4. they are hiring even though forcing "top paying employees" to take a cut during covid
    5. completely disorganized hiring process... I was given a technical interview, then another technical interview with the same question being asked.
    What a joke
    Interview

    1. Arbitrary Promise question 2. Arbitrary string operations
