I applied in-person. I interviewed at Scoot (Singapore) in Feb 2023

    Interview

Overall the process was quite chill and the HR people were very friendly. Although we had to wait quite awhile before the assessment started and the room got warm and stuffy. HOWEVER! what I don't understand is the way they select people that makes it onto the next stage. I was eliminated after the second stage, which was an english verbal reasoning test. Some people that attended wore very casual clothes (one girl even came wearing jeans, sandals and a tshirt), have colourful dyed hair, etc. but still managed to pass the grooming check?? Or behave borderline inappropriate and loud for the duration of the interview. How could the HR allow such thing, when clearly they don't bother to dress up or behave accordingly for the assessment? I am baffled and left the place with a bad impression.
