    Employee Relations Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Charlotte, NC (US)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Charlotte, NC (US)).

I have never been so disappointed. I was initially contacted by a recruiter who conducted a phone screen with me. The second person who contacted me was a peer who scheduled a phone interview with her and her manager. Because that interview went so well I was moved to the final set of phone interviews with two more people in HR management roles. This round of interviews involved a series of behavioral/scenario questions, much like the previous interview.

After going through all of these interviews, I received an auto-generated email at 3 AM rejecting me for the position. I tried to reach out to all of the people that I met with, who were initially warm and friendly, and got absolutely no response.

I am an experienced HR professional who has conducted many interviews myself and I would be ashamed to treat a candidate this way. I give Wells Fargo an “F” for this process.

In hindsight, I’m glad I was not selected to work for a company who treats people like this.
