Multiple crises were affecting our employees. We felt an urgent need to support them. Empathy circles were born: safe spaces where our people could talk and feel safe

  • Back in June our global ProdDev team held a virtual Tech Summit with over 1,000 attendees, 4 keynotes, 91 content sessions, and more. The best part? We've raised money for Black Girls CODE, The Codette Project, and HackYourFuture!!

Zendesk – Why Work With Us?

Zendesk was started in a Copenhagen loft by three friends who used an old kitchen door as a desk. They wanted to bring a bit of zen to the chaotic world of customer support by creating software that was nice to look at and easy to use.

Today we're different, but still the same! Since then, the company has grown. The software is now built all over the world, by a growing group of talented, charming people. The offices are bigger and we have real desks, but we’ve held on to the spirit with which we began: be genuine, listen to customers, and keep it beautifully simple.

Yes, work-life balance is a buzzword, but it’s actually a priority at Zendesk. We work very hard, but we also know that our team needs room for family, friends, and themselves to be at their best. That’s why we keep sane work hours so we can pursue our passions outside the office. When we are working we like to have fun! We approach work with passion, focus, and a sense of humor.

Our Company Blog

At Zendesk, diversity, equity and inclusion are more than buzzwords, and bigger than the bottom line. It’s about our people knowing that they’re valued where they work. Employees at Zendesk work hard to build a culture where everyone belongs. Zendesk's various Employee Resource Groups play a vital role in creating communities that bring us together and ensure we feel supported at work.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

At Zendesk we are driven by a simple intention: be helpful. Our products make it simple for companies to be helpful to their customers. Social Impact at Zendesk has a similar goal — to make sure our company is helpful to individuals, to communities, and to the planet. By harnessing our people, products, and resources, we commit to being a force for good in the places where we live and work.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Zendesk (Singapore) in March 2020.

    Interview

Position is based in Singapore. This role came up when the whole covid situation started to explode so I wasn’t sure if it was a right time to move or even if the company was really serious in hiring. However during the interview process I spoke to some of the amazing people. No offer was made at this point but I am quite excited about what Zendesk is doing.
