    Evidence of, no management, disorganization and lack of communication between teams lead to regular conflict and other undue stressors. Consultants are considered to be objects or expenses rather than assets, and there is little concern for their happiness or well-being. there also appears to be little evidence of leaders' compassion and empathy for them. The result is high levels of stress and burnout. Management set unrealistic and unattainable goals, often doing so because they don’t care if we are overworked or not. and when those goals aren’t met, they blame their consultants for not achieving them, labelling them weak or poor performers. They do not give guidance, they assign work and want things to get done no matter how and when even if deemed unethical.Frequently inconsiderate, management prefer not to pay attention to their team’s strengths and are quite fond of shaming and testing every individual in their team on the basis of their weaknesses.

    Advice to Management

    I would suggest conducting a culture or consultant engagement survey that reflects on the work environment and management's performance or leadership. Have your HR and well-meaning managers conduct stay interviews to keep good consultant from leaving. Invest in coaching for managers Every employee needs to learn the value of setting boundaries. Define what is acceptable behaviour and what isn't--then communicate assertively with appropriate boundaries.
