      Goal-oriented, fast paced, extremely challenging working environment

      Pros

      If somebody wants to work in a very fast paced and challenging working environment in computer science and programming, then this middle-sized company is th eperfect place to be. Business is evolving continuously and the variety of subjects and roles in the IT department is tremendous.

      Cons

      Because of the fast paced environment, work-life balance plays a secondary role. Not that it is not taken into account from management at all, but there are certain time periods where business has priority. Moreover, since the company is expanding at a tremendous pace as well, the organization is suffering due to the fast transition required between a small and medium sized company.

      Pros

      Decent raises and bonus, smart colleagues. Some interesting technology topics and issues

      Cons

      Zero communication, top down approach in solving problems, an instilled blame culture. Business agenda is fragmented by a sales team where every member pushes his own topics. Development teams take a back seat as every developer tries to fathom what is expected of him. You have some team leads who micro manage and then you have some who do not manage at all. Politeness and psychological freedom is absent in inter team communication. Starting salaries are low for the finance domain

      Its a OK company with a very low pay

      Exposure to some high frequency trading stuff (if you are into network level stuff)

      Cons

      No rewards, staying in Germany with a family with this kind of pay for the work you do is not worth.
