Pros

Amazing talents that are diamonds in the rough amongst the fake ones. Company knows how to throw parties and events but that goes on to say…

Cons

It runs like an elongated Fyre Festival. I think that says it all but if you want more context, here it is… You will be promised growth, great benefits, and being able to work for a luxury brand only to find out you’ll be taken advantage of and feeling discounted in your career. Including the cost of your sanity and health, both physical and mental. There is no clear direction or communication of any sort. There is no structure and organization. Infrastructure is broken, a disaster that is running through a thin string with the incompetent people that they protect and keep. Outside looking in, you see the lavish events but inside looking out, trust, this is not a ticket you want to opt for in your career. You’re better off knowing your worth and value elsewhere in another company where you can feel understood, seen and heard. Oh, and complete peace. Move on and put on your free. Pass this one.

Toxic Management

Pros

Only pros are some great coworkers, and you can have health insurance that can cover your therapist you will need after working there.

Cons

Where to even start? very Toxic work environment with unhappy people. There is a reason this department has lost complete teams every year. The micromanagement and micro aggressions are daily. Can’t teach someone how to be a manger of a team when they have no proper skills and knowledge to do so. No one has been in that team more than a year it should be obvious who the problem is. I hope to never encounter a situation like that in my career, it was set back but I hope this is able to help someone gain insight as to what to expect. Prepare for unrealistic timelines and responsibilities as there is no structure or growth. You are isolated from most departments therefore you are unable to make connections and build work relationships. You feel like getting up from your desk is crime. Overall if you have any experience avoid this like the plague. “Luxury fashion” not all that glitters is gold and yes you will need to park at an adult entertainment lot and walk through homeless encampments to get the actual building.

Poor Management & Unhappy Employees

Pros

There were some really great people, made lifelong friends.

Cons

Company removed clothing allowance, which was the only real perk of working there. Company is so successful, but completely underpays entry and lower level employees. If you make a salary, it's the legal minimum so they don't have to pay for overtime. Upper management is rude, fake, cliquey, and elitist. Working here made me never want to work in luxury fashion again.
