- Slightly higher than average salary - Company will not go bankrupt - Well funded company - Quite slack sometimes, especially in year end when projects slow down and everyone take leave (depending on what projects as some projects may be busier in year end coz depending on the deadline of projects)

- Inflexible rules - Those without PHD cannot progress as fast - Some useless PHD people who work within the company will instead make things difficult for the project because of their useless contributions (yet their pay is high lol) but A*STAR doesn't let them go even though they are not contributing for months / years (I have seen many cases of this while working 3 years in the company)
