Pros

The algorithm works well on CCTV cameras. However, it’s extremely expensive, requires lots of expensive hardware. You get to go on lavish trips. Spouses too sometimes. They spend a lot of money, which is good if you don’t care about the well being of the organization and you only care about yourself, in the moment.

Cons

The CEO is a complete nut job. Google “Anyvision CEO threatens NBC News reporter.” There is constant political back fighting within the organization. No one knows who is in charge from one day to another. There is no clear strategy., especially in North America. The product is very complicated to install and maintain. The techs don’t even seem to understand it. There’s a cloud of secrecy around the backend of the product. No one is sure why. If you want tech support, don’t call Anyvision. They don’t care. In Las Vegas, at the ISC West show in 2019, Eylon Etshtein, CEO, got up and told the entire North American team that “support doesn’t matter. Supporting partners doesn’t matter. Good tech, that’s all that matters.” Good luck with that.

Anyvision takes seriously your review and deeply regrets to read that this was your personal experience within the company. However, we at Anyvision, are aware that working in a highly-motivate work environment may cause difficulties with stress management for some employees. This naturally affects the general work experience and what makes our employees such a unique working force that we take such pride in.

Pros

The facial rec technology really does work.

Cons

You will be promised far above industry average pay but will not realize a large portion of this. Every measure is taken to save a dime at the cost of the employee (regularly forced to share cheap hotel rooms with coworkers). Management is very inexperienced and tells sales that products exist that really only exist in idea or a brochure. “This is startup, you sell it, we will build it”. You are asked to present a slide deck that is full of false information or statements that are so far removed from the truth, you’d need a flow chart to follow the train of thought. The product is extremely difficult to configure without assistance from AnyVision engineers and is not ready for a channel model. This makes it extremely hard to scale and management not does not want to listen to the people they have hired. In two months, AnyVision saw 10 departures from the sales/delivery team of maybe 18 people total. Some of these folks were very accomplished sales people who left great roles to come to Anyvision...it isn’t a coincidence they all left after such a short tenure. Please think twice before leaving a position to come work here...you will regret it. FWIW, this is clearly an OEM play, not a channel play, management has yet to figure this out. Watch out sales team when they realize they only need a few people to manage OEM deals, allowing them to inexepnsively leverage the VMS manufacturers sales teams....
