Worst place I have worked in my entire 13 year professional career!
Pros
They give you a nice computer to use...but you have to lug the 9 pound object with you everywhere as you can't leave your stuff in the office overnight.
Cons
- When offered the position, I negotiated to work remotely. They wanted me to work in Denver, and offered me a $20,000 increase in salary to work in Denver if I moved during the first three months. Two weeks after starting the job, while we were under contract to buy a house in Denver, they rescinded the offer. - After two weeks of working for the new company in a completely new field, I was told that I was performing poorly. When I asked what tasks I had performed poorly on, my manager could not name any. He just said that I wasn't working hard enough. - In the interview, I made no attempt to hide the fact that I didn't have experience and only had limited expertise in the area they wanted me to work on. They offered me a position regardless, and proceeded to fire me after three weeks for not having the right skillset / expertise for the position. - Three days into my job, I was asked by my manager to host an on-site interview with another candidate. My manager was frequently interviewing other candidates, but stated to me that he had no intention to hire them; he just wanted to "see what was out there". - Cramped noisy office space with hardly any elbow room at the desks. Not for introverts and people who need space!
