    Pros

BAE provides job security because they are government contractors. There is a lot of opportunity to move around within the company.

    Cons

Decisions making and directions is often scattered because they are a contractor for the DOD. The government moves slow and has a lot of red tape.

I have been working at BAE Systems USA full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Lots of interesting work and opportunities with a lot of mentoring too. I came from private sector to defense and I really like it here - For a huge organization they do a really great job of keeping people involved and they rely heavily on good feedback throughout Electronic Systems. I've enjoyed many of the projects I am involved with and find them very interesting.

    Cons

The usual red tape of working in defense but once you get past that its not bad. There are a lot of older people that have a hard time listening to new approaches and there are certain groups this is more prominent than others.
