The rebuttal to one of the reviews in this company profile is a steaming pile.
Pros
Some of the people are nice. Nice area to work in.
Cons
Everything previously stated about cliques is true about Banfield. The parroted line is about how everyone works together so well, but the truth is that people are siloed into cliques, and if you're in one that gets the work, then you get a crack at the work, even if you're not qualified or have no experience to do that work, and especially if you happen to be a partner. If not, you get pigeonholed forever doing the same thing over and over again (powerpoint layouts, anyone?), and forget doing anything else. Forget career advancement; you'll be told that you're on your own from day one. And they just really don't care about your career advancement; you can ask the many folks they've unceremoniously laid off after decades of service. Client management is zilch, which is why they repeatedly lose money on jobs. But everything gets blamed on the creatives, who have little say in the crap jobs they have to work on.
