- Three official and a few more unofficial layoffs (unfounded firings) in under three years. Company blames the economy but really it’s just their poor management. Once, even twice could be understandable but 3+? That’s incompetent leadership.
- Meaningless promotions. What does a title bump mean when your doing the same job and making the same money. Except maybe leaderships’ recent “promotions” which may have come with money. Amazingly those responsible for the poor business decisions and financial situation are the only ones bot being punished. In fact, they’re being rewarded.
- Do not believe LinkedIn. Again, the promotions are meaningless to make it seem like there are more roles within the company and, thus, more mobility. There isn’t.
- The company is not 51-200. There are 23 people left. There were 65 just two years ago. Laying off 60% of you company in just over two years - you don’t know what you’re doing.
- Half the offerings they list on LinkedIn are no longer possible due to layoffs. They don’t have the skill set or bandwidth anymore.
- The competent members of leadership jumped ship after the last official layoff and believe me, Beacon is worse off as a result.
- They make a big deal of DEI but they are 95% white, 75% female, and 100% Christian. There is no diversity.
