culture not right. colleagues were nice. higher up and HR Head are husband and wife, so if you have chain of command up to the spouse, they and HR are a team and employee will never be 'heard'. They use what companies these days do to document your exit. It's hidden behind trying to correct your shortcomings, but is really just to write you up and get rid of you. Will do everything they can to get you to leave on your own like writing you up for small things so they can pad their HR file. Upper management is a joke and one in particular thinks they walk on water, and are hyper focused on doing things that hurt the business (with facade of helping business). want to pay vendors as little as possible and drag out paying them for months. Then blame the front line people for not having vendors that will do the work, or do the work well. In a very short time, had three different managers who were let go. when all us peons are failing you'd think they'd look up the ladder at who is at fault, but nope. And getting rid of people with experience because of 'poor performance' and quickly replaced by young staff at even lesser wages (not that you make a great wage).
It's a toxic environment and you'll walk on eggshells afraid to make any type of mistake (and unless we have perfect people in this world, ALL of us can make a mistake, or forget something etc from time to time). Upper management makes their own mistakes but still have their jobs of course. Different standards depending on who you are.
and also changed systems several times, procedures changed etc. every six months, headed in a different direction (not in a good way but just for the sake of thinking that is going to make the business better).
