What a waste.

Pros

The perfect place for someone with absolutely no talent or web experience seeking a made up nonsensical position where they are free to abuse the production staff (designers and developers). A marvelous place to be a salesman who again knows nothing about the web. Basically the less you know about the web and brown-nose the more you will succeed.

Cons

Projects are dictated by people who have no idea how the project life cycle works. They find key words or phrases and throw them around as if they know what it truly means. On numerous occasions, no every occasion the production staff has continuously picked up the slack for the short-comings of those in charge. The production staff is always to blame and the least compensated despite their tireless efforts.

Dishonest Company

Pros

There were some extremely talented designers and developers working there at one time. Every now and then you get to work on a project for a big brand, and that always looks good on your resume.

Cons

All of those extremely talented designers and developers have since left. Management doesn't engage in ethical business practices and doesn't treat employees with respect.

Unbelievable ineptitude

Pros

private office space, easy work

Cons

Completely worthless management Inadequate access to necessary resources Total lack of anything like a process Stupidity embodied This is a very 'accounts' driven development shop. The decision makers are completely out of touch with technical realities and are allowed to create whatever client/staff expectations they want without ANY accountability. Then, when (predictably), expectations can't be met...the obvious response is to simply blame it on the development team. The development team is 'led' by a useless, spineless yes-man who backs up 'accounts' and hangs his staff out to dry...then takes a nap...on the days that he actually even comes to work. I have never been happier to lose a job. If you're a developer, stay away from this place. If you're a weak and ineffective account manager wannabe with no project management experience and want a scapegoat for your own ineptitude, you'll have one at Brandmovers.
