Pros

If you interested in working with the smartest people that are always dedicated to excellence, with a product and technology, that is at-most cutting edge, incredibly stable, and delivering extraordinary results to customers, with an executive management team that follows and achieves consequently its vision of being the market leader in Enterprise AI, and most importantly if you wanna have the chance to make an impact to the world, then this is the place where you should.

Cons

No Cons, but consider this: This is a place where the collective IQ of face-to-face collaboration is critical to the achieve the companies goals. If you are not open to collaboratively work in the office, if you cannot cope with pressure on delivering results, and if you are a strict 9-5 guy, this might not be not your place.

Amazing technology and some of the brightest technical minds in the world

Hostile, rule by fear culture with frequent turnover. Sales Management lacks true sales leadership experience and knowledge of how sell to specific industries

- C3 solves critical problems across multiple industries, so working here you get exposed to all of that. And it keeps changing so things never get old! - People who work here are among the smartest you'll ever meet. - People here are super young (probably around 30-35 on average), so it's a young company with a lot of energy coming from both young and senior employees.

Pros

Being a data scientist at C3.ai is quite different from being a data scientist at most other companies. In my 2.5 years of working at C3.ai, I have worked on real, high-impact problems in many different industries like predictive maintenance for Army and Air Force helicopters, multiple video-based object detection/tracking, anomaly detection on industrial machines, R&D work on autoencoders and model explainability, etc. There are ups and downs in any project, but there is never a boring day because there are so many unique and challenging problems to work on with the best teammates you could ask for. I have personally been able to grow so much because of all of the critical thinking and problem-solving I've had to do both in customer-facing projects and in internal R&D projects. The data science team managers do an amazing job guiding our personal growth and allowing us to explore all kinds of experiences.

Cons

If you want to work here and be happy, you will need to be dedicated to your work and be okay with working extra hours sometimes. The customers' real-world problems can get frustrating, as these are all problems that have not yet been solved, so your perseverance and ability to think outside-of-the-box will be tested at some points in your work here. Furthermore, as with any customer-facing roles, it may be difficult to be a data scientist here if communication is not your strong-suit.
