Pros

Callidus is a great company to work for in the sense of people. The managers are great people and your colleagues tend to also be friendly and supportive.

Cons

The cons come into the picture with the corporate aspects. Callidus used to be a private company and since the Honeywell buyout, corporate politics have taken a front seat.

Pros

Close to home, thats the only pro I heard from every employee, they never had anything good to say about working there.

Cons

Where to begin.... They will keep you on the temp service usually for a year or more so you don't get paid didly squat that whole year with no vacation and no benefits. You can never do enough or be good enough in their eyes so there is "always room for improvement" especially if you are on the temp service. The people who manage the employees choose their favorite employee and people on the temp service will never feel that they are part of the "team", even if you work your butt off. They always ask what can make your job better or easier but never follow through with it, they will ask your opinion about changes but never listen they have their own mind set already so even if you don't like the idea you should just agree with it because its going to happen wether you want it to or not. They never follow through with their big ideas for changing the company. But they do change your area where you work constantly even if all workers in the area like the arrangement and it works for them. Even at that you can be piled with work (which was rarely) and they want you to stop in the middle of what your doing and waste the rest of the day arranging tables or shelves in your area and cleaning up. Receiving work from warehouse on time never happened so when or if you got any work you had to rush sometimes compromising the quality in order to get their quantity out. And quantity is more important than quality to this company. As long as it looks good on paper and hitting their goals they don't care about anything else. They DO NOT care about their employees at all, you are just another person another number. They expect the employees to do the supervisors job most of the time, they expect you to go above and beyond your job title and your pay everyday even while they treat you like crap. Your time away from the company and weekends don't mean anything to them. Oh and about safety.... Yes they are a safe company but all you hear about is safety safety safety all the time and they worry about safety more than production. Don't get me wrong safety is great it assures people get to go home everyday from work but theres a line there where your being counter productive instead of productive. Expect to always get your jobs late.

Pros

Pay is good, every other Friday off, offices are nice

Cons

Lots of turnover-many people have left and the rehiring process has been extremely slow. I had my job plus the work of two other colleagues who left months ago. Management does not seem to notice or care. It is also very hard to change jobs/positions at Callidus. Other than a select few, once you are hired in a particular position, you are set in stone there. It is extremely frustrating. SAP-very few people know how to use it. Most of the data input is invalid and it takes a lot of time (and headaches) on a daily basis to make it work. Management is seemingly oblivious to the pain.
