-Salary may not be that high - Overload of work -No work-life-balance as IT Analyst compared to other roles in the firm -Have more responsibility than your own Job description -There's more incidents (ALMOST every day/ every week/ every update)compared to other law firms -Global IT are not trained very well, therefore, it is creating more duplicate work and wasted time for 2nd line IT - Most secretaries are nice but just incapable, plus a huge politics amongst them too. They need to be spoon-fed most of the time. Especially the ones who have stayed the longest. - Relatively poor staff benefits with a basic medical plan for staff

Great training, working with people at the top of their game, on headline-grabbing transactions or cases. Good facilities (swimming pool!) and generally friendly people, with huge emphasis on diversity and inclusion (certainly at management level but as always middle management may not be fully on board in reality). Pro bono work genuinely encouraged.

Cons

Long hours with assumptions about (the lack of) work/life balance, internal communications not always great, partners don't always genuinely care about people they work with as people and tend to accept unrealistic deadlines which cause huge stress. Still a way to go with achieving inclusion on the ground level.
