      Pros

At Combined Insurance, there are many pros. From helping clients out in their moment of need to being able to have a flexible work schedule. The pay is great. In your first 26 weeks, you get weekly bonuses. You also receive monthly bonuses as well as quarterly bonuses when you reach a certain level in the company.

      Cons

Even the days you are not working, you're working because you have to cater to your clients and their questions/claims

      Cons

If you are lazy this is not the right company for you. Sorry to be blunt but the reality is when given the freedom of time there are those that realize it's an opportunity to do something great and change their financial future and those that don't. Those that do build a career where when they take time off it is well earned and they continue to get paid while off because they put in the hard work when they weren't off....

        Pros

The overall meaning behind their success is something to take with you throughout the entirety of your life. W Clement Stone is the founder and his morals show throughout the company. I currently work in the Rapid City, SD region and have experienced a positive training atmosphere and reinforcement. I’m excited to see where things will go, and know that it will exceed your expectations as long as you put in the work.

I worked at Combined Insurance full-time for more than a year

        Pros

A solid look at insurance sales, door-to-door sales, learning the business.

        Cons

Expect to work 7 days a week making phone calls on Saturday and Sunday and seeing customers Monday through Friday from dawn till way past dusk. Turnover in the sales force has to be 95% at best. The vast majority leave within 3 months. Even many top agents leave within a year. Even those Who Have Made It consistently to account executive or senior account executive. They simply get burned out, they can't keep up...

I worked at Combined Insurance full-time for more than a year

        Pros

Great sales training program, nice cafeteria at HQ

        Cons

Literally everything else. Avoid. This is not a professional insurance sales position. They churn and burn through agents and will wreck your income with massive chargebacks over which you have no control. And the insurance products pale by comparison to the Duck.

        Advice to Management

Pay people. You can't ask people to he full-time captured agents and not supply some form of base income. Also, get more competitive products or at least do some sort of marketing to help your people in the field. The biggest objection I got from people was zero awareness of the company.
