A sinking ship

Pros

The pay was pretty good, all things considered

Cons

Completely dysfunctional organization, all across the board turnover is high and it’s being glossed over. There’s no clear vision upper management seems to bounce all over the place. The vast majority of people don’t really wanna be there. You could tell they’re just there for a paycheck. Company culture sucks. If you’re looking for a long stable career, I would stay away from this place.

Pros

I don't think people who want a stable career would like anything about this workplace ambiance, as the fear of job loss always looms here.

Cons

Employee job security is the worst here. The employers make terrible hiring choices and then blame the employees for not knowing stuff they weren't even hired to do in the first place. Their control freak attitude created an ambiance full of stress and fear. People stopped talking to each other as they were afraid they might be targeted next.

Pros

Base pay was nice, coworkers were great and felt like we all wanted to solve problems- hope I work with them again in the future under better circumstances. Good amount of diverse people here too which is cool. WFH but this is shifting towards RTO recently.

Cons

Been with the company for over 4.5 years No annual pay raises. Quarterly WFH allowance was reduced from $450/quarter to $60 per month since I joined so everyone actually got a pay cut over time. My position got eliminated, the only kind of severance I got was unused PTO was paid out and that's it. It took them 3weeks to get my EAN and FEIN information which delayed my unemployment benefits. Very limited leadership and messaging on products which leads to all-around confusion and disarray at multiple levels of the company especially for such a complicated product. The company set ambitious company-wide initiatives but incentive structures are not aligned across departments. As a result, some teams are less motivated to support initiatives that do not contribute to their own performance metrics or quotas which created challenges for cross-functional collaboration and execution. WFH is turning into RTO, if you want a promotion they require you to come into the office at one of their office locations. Turnover including C-Suite, VP, and manager levels. CEO should lead more with empathy and empowerment rather than a culture of fear. Lots of “ownership” and “you decide to show up everyday” which is understandable but everyone’s burning out from years of hard work. One of the Directors had a heart incident working after hours and had to be hospitalized. GTM motion started in 2021 when they got C round funding ($257 million total) but the market has changed and they have not gone public/acquired. They’re shifting towards profitability instead of growth. Expect to have a lot of work/accounts to do with little training/enablement. Good for certain kind of person but probably burnout most people. Team I was on had a “historic” quarter but no real recognition/pay raise, additional headcount, etc. Quota stayed the same the entire time I was there even though the team didn’t reach it most of the time. 5 people before me in the team left and there were no backfills. Tones of "asks" in the form of company initiatives we had to meet but little rewards.
