Pros

great client roster, individual contributors are great

Cons

This review is based on my experience as a woman who worked at CreatorIQ. CreatorIQ puts off an illusion of being a great place to work. The CEO and the President are both narcissistic, misogynistic and promote a culture of bullying, exclusion and chaos. Their inept and dinosaur-like leadership has driven out many talented, smart and strong female leaders in recent months. The whims of the CEO make this a very volatile, unhealthy place to work. There is a lack of transparency, a system of bias, and favoritism shown towards those who drink the Kool-Aid and act like a yes person. The culture is top-down, driven by the ego-driven leaders at the executive level. The lack of discipline and ethics permeates the product. The product is a shiny object that is riddled with fundamental flaws. CreatorIQ is a disruptive environment where gender bias is tolerated. This boys club discourages innovation. I continuously saw other women mistreated during my tenure at CreatorIQ. I have no doubt that more smart, talented people will continue to leave the organization, as HR has been informed about the rampant cultural issues but has failed to take any significant action. Finally, the benefits package is not good and shows how old school the leaders at the company are.

Pros

I'm sharing my review because I believe candidates deserve a measured perspective and honest take that's not clouded by reactionary responses due to some recent very poor reviews on here. Burying them under 5 star reviews isn't going to appear genuine. Here's what great: - Fantastic team of individual contributors made up of smart, capable people who are also really nice and fun - Really great team leaders at the Director and VP levels across most departments. These are the leaders employees look up to and choose to stay for. They've achieved amazing things in the last year and have grown their teams in both size and with considerable internal promotions - A really good product that makes us a market leader in the space + focused on doing innovative stuff - Flexibility in terms of time off, WFH (pre-covid), remote work, and needing to get other things done. You're treated like a grown up

Cons

- Yes, it's harder for women here and it's especially hard for women in leadership roles - Yes, the C-Suite (CEO and President) is a problem from both a gender bias perspective and a top-down, controlling perspective that hinders the work and growth teams could be achieving if allowed - Lots of growing pains around establishing processes and discipline operationally - Leadership needs to be better at the 'why' of everything and inspiring employees to really care + leaves a lot of important initiatives or projects to the last minute which puts pressure on employees who need to execute - A huge product means lots of work all the time that can feel like triaging / fire drills. It can also mean employees are stuck in the day-to-day without the ability to think and plan for career growth and skill building - Benefits like parental leave were introduced too late and offer too little

Pros

Thank you to the recent reviewers who have come forward on their experience with misogyny and gender-bias at this company. The individual contributors at CreatorIQ were the biggest pro to working at the organization.

Cons

I experienced and witnessed the gender bias by the CEO described in the recent reviews. I also experienced and witnessed the complicity of the two other men in the C-Suite. I saw women assigned and reduced to disproportionately carry administrative tasks, which I unfortunately experienced myself. Other reviewers mentioned women being talked over, talked down to, and excluded from conversations related to their work, while the men in the conversations don't bring the same expertise and experience in the topics discussed. I also experienced that. The company continued to sit on examples of women being marginalized, which in turn allowed and enabled continued gender-bias within the org. Organizationally, the decision-making within the C-Suite was unfounded and chaotic at best.
