      Pros

Great Benefits Very Secure People are generally very nice on a personal level

      Cons

      - Processes are horrible. People manage the milestones, not the actual projects - American Tower is performing much better as a company - Employees are not held accountable. - Lots of project managers focus on service revenue, not rental revenue. - LOTS of excuses are present throughout all levels of the company (its the customer's fault, its the jurisdiction's fault, its pick a department's fault) - Because the business model is so great, there is no sense of true urgency for change. Management has tried multiple projects but they never follow through 100% creating confusion among the workforce and not actually impacting the business) - Because of how complex and cumbersome the internal systems are, it can take while to promote. There is also no standardization. Different teams do the process differently throughout the country.

      Culture change for the worse

      Pros

Great benefits for now, but those are changing as they become more corporate. Most of the people are great.

      Cons

Company that preaches B3s is dropping its culture, focus and identity to fit in with corporate America. The EMTs have changed their tone about employee focus to the shareholders and focus on woke policies. Many are jumping ship as they see the company culture and focus has dramatically changed for the worse. Pay rates are low, and promotion opportunities are few unless you fit in the equity box with little to no experience outside of crown. Too much middle management in certain areas of the company, and most are incompetent unfortunately. To move up, you have to have ties to upper management or check certain boxes.

      Good and Iffy

      Pros

Great benefits and work life balance. These are the two things Crown prioritizes the most. There is no drama and work gets done in a timely manner. Vacation is three weeks and they pay for part of your gym membership. They're great about time off and the CEO allows everyone to leave at 3 the day before a holiday. The IT department is excellent. If you have an issue they are on it immediately and will fix it. Everyone in the company is genuinely very nice minus a few bad eggs. If they are not in your department though you will be just fine. The culture here is great and the CEO and CFO promote inclusivity. It feels like a family here.

      Cons

Management really needs management training. The communication is very poor and it seems like no one knows what is going on most of the time. There is a huge expectation for you to know everything even when management is unclear. Don't expect to be heard if you have an opinion about a project. The chain of command is real and to be respected and this company. Structure has been lacking ever since the reorg and there is no longer a plan to make it structured again. Last point is sometimes it can get boring.

      Place is a mess

      Pros

Pro's are the benefits are great but they try to hang the carrot in front of you to keep you here.

      Cons

Management is horrible. There is no other way to say it. Many managers have been here for year and want to do the same thing because " that is how they do it". Many have fear of change yet won't move out of the way for other talent to take over. The B3's are joke and anyone who doesn't see that is blinded. They hide behind them for their own benefit.

      Company Culture Crisis

      Pros

Company was quick to implement full remote working when the pandemic hit and is being very methodical about when and how to return to the office. The benefits are great, including both the employer 401k and HSA contributions.

      Cons

The company culture has progressively gotten worse over the past few years. Leadership is overly political and doesn't practice what it preaches in terms of the B3's, which are supposed to be the core values that define our culture. Rather than working together, it seems management is competing for resources (time/money) to the point of deception and lies. I've seen certain leaders lie about the outcomes of their projects just to preserve their own reputation or blame others for their mistakes. It all adds up to a toxic environment in which trust has eroded.
