Pros

After a year of turbulent and teething issues after the merger, CtrlShift has made a complete transformation to a clear positioning, new product suite and a fresh set of leaders from reputable global companies. Today, with its over 100 staff, they are on a path to creating a clear niche for themselves and a great culture. The new leaders are quickly establishing structures, processes and systems. The proprietary technology product built in-house is a force to reckon with in the global platform for adtech.

Cons

Not for those who're in for an easy ride. Loads of learning, hungry hunters and competitive spirit.

Biggest con ever!

Pros

None, not even the coffee joint downstairs can make up for this conpany (pun intended). No technology, no product, no direction, no business.

Cons

The inevitable will happen, the conpany is going down. Serious lack of capable leaders, instead the misfit self centered team put together to run this conpany is a joke, inexperienced, suspicious, petty and domineering. Reflective of the persons responsible for this entire vehicle. This profile remains unclaimed - go figure. Bullying (of employees) is a favorite pass time but pets get to come in late, work from home and knock off early for superficial reasons. Whoever is left is scrambling to leave. Now they are passing the buck to some unsuspecting soul to helm the sinking ship. Yet, they continue to recruit equally unsuspecting folks (those who don't check Glassdoor obviously!) who will end up on the list of those fast and furiously "conned".

CtrlShift is the result of a merger of 3 disparate but complementary companies that took place in March 2015. As with any merger, there is always a period of adjustment and consolidation which takes anywhere between 12 - 18 months. We’ve ridden out the rough waters and emerged with a commercially launched technology platform (refer to www.thehub.co), an innovative premium marketplace for SE Asian publishers (www.amppmp.com) and a brand new solutions-oriented consulting model (www.ctrlshift.com). We have a full-strength leadership bench, made up of professionals from within and outside the industry, including very capable, experienced talent. We have recently restructured and we are poised for tremendous growth as a technology-led enabler of CMOs and agencies. We treat each employee as a co-pilot on our journey and we’ve embraced transparency in all our communications, internal and external. Read our latest news (list of articles below) and refer to more recent reviews here on Glassdoor for a more balanced idea of our culture and corporate practices. Pros

The direction of the company is unclear as it is growing. However, this could also mean there is a lot to be defined. That is the fun and challenging part to be in the company, to start and define something new that you can take ownership of. This is definitely not something you can usually do in a bigger firm where you are just a cog in the wheel of the company. The people here are very supportive and they are really willing to share anything they know. These 2 factors actually made the environment a very conducive environment for people to learn and create something new.

Cons

Limited interaction with employees from other countries with key function. This actually make it difficult for people to understand each other workflows and causing operational challenges and stress as stated by some of the reviewers.
