"Beware of their 18 months contract"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Emerio for more than a year
Pros
Salary paid on-time You'll get a good client profile and of course a good experience
Cons
- 18 MONTHS RULE: you are NOT ALLOWED TO RESIGN during 18 months. Or else you need to pay as much as 1 month salary. - Notice Period is as ridiculous as 2 MONTHS. Almost no company in Singapore give 2 Months notice period, except in marine / manufacturing / engineering company. - Those rule above is the same both Permanent and Contract! - Almost every month heard an employee resigning - No team building - NOT A HEALTHY TEAM, I was in the type of throwing the BLAME to the other team member - DESPITE of the blame game, the company begging me not to resign - promised bonus to me but NO BONUS AT ALL during my time there - CHILDISH RULE: If you come to office after 9:15 write your name in front desk and provide your reason why you came late. If you go home earlier like 6:00, your manager will ask you "WHY YOU COME HOME EARLY? There's a lot of work to do.." - CHILDISH RULE again: DON'T WEAR JEANS on FRIDAY, or HR will catch you and give you a warning letter. Or even WORSE, you have to go home and change to business pants. One day we did "hide and seek" with HR because of wearing black cargo pants. - NO JOB SECURITY, especially if you are contract (aside from 18 months rule and 2 months notice period). You can be asked to leave anytime if there's no project to work on. - NO CAREER GROWTH, once you are plotted as developer or support, you'll be in the same position even if 6 years working. - NO WORK-LIFE BALANCE. Worried every FRIDAY, because anytime even 11:00pm or 1:00am, you'll be called to come to office SATURDAY and SUNDAY!

"Good with some "terms and conditions""

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Emerio full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
So far, the company was quite good, having high profile clients, high exposure on the technology that you are working on. Salary was 95% on-time, the pay was average.
Cons
As mentioned by other reviewers, you are bound to 18 months agreement, even if you work there as permanent. Not allowed to resign during first 18 months, but if you plan to, you need to give up 1 month salary (payable to them). The hard part is you are bound to serve 2 months notice period, it's hard to find another company that accepts 2 months notice period. The other bad side if you are in contract term, they usually will not tell you whether your contract will be extended or ceased, even if near to the end date of the contract. At the initial sign up, I was offered for a yearly bonus, but when I worked there for 2 years more, I didn't receive any single bonus due to the "company's financial condition". Challenges on work was good, but there's no work-life balance. Even you have to be ready if at Friday 5pm your manager asked you to come at Saturday, end up in leaving office at Sunday 2am. No career advancement so far, you'll most likely work as what you've told.

Good management training opportunities. Upper management is friendly and always recognize for achievements. I like the people here I work with and lots of room for growth.
