Pros

Good team, with company-wide opportunities to socialise and get to know the other locations. In-person training in Liverpool was an enjoyable introduction to the company. Good communication overall, paid well and made you feel part of a bigger team.

Cons

We would have liked a bit more communication on the circumstances from the leadership team when our location closed permanently. However, we understood that this was out of their hands. I'd also mention long hours working on your own, but our location was small and not too busy!

Pros

Free coffee Flexible hours - if booking far in advance Nice people to work with

Cons

Applied as a barista and they made me a key holder without telling me id have that much responsibility. Was given less than a week of training and then a month later I was training someone else. You don’t get paid overtime if you have to stay late because it’s been busy even though they make you work alone. Paid minimum wage for insane amount of work and made to work alone for long periods of time. The worst part about this job is I don’t feel safe and im NOT safe. We have all had multiple experiences with verbal abuse which I know others have too as well as other unsafe situations including someone attempting to break in and actually breaking in. Tried requesting CCTV along with other members of staff and nothing has been done. You need to give insane amount of time if you’re sick but of course, you can’t plan when you’re sick. If you call in they just tell you that they can’t get cover and colleagues are often left working through illness trying to get cover. They make mistakes with rotas and then we are blamed and even given warnings for possible firing because of a mistake they made.

Pros

Free coffee is where the pros start and end.

Cons

This is not a nice place to work at all. Toxic work environment. Management who treat their staff poorly. Can be left to work alone which is unsafe. No cctv or safety measures in place.
