Pros

Very flexible and supportive; room for upward momentum and they like to hire from within. Your experience may depend on what area you work in and who your supervisor is. Some are very engaged while others tend not to assert themselves. Much more rigidity on the manufacturing floor however, understandably.

Cons

Employees are very unhappy with being purchased by a Fortune 500 company, adjusting to new product lines and much more micromanagement, jumping through hoops for small things, etc. Only two of the 5 execs have been there for longer than 2 years, so there's not many in charge any more who remember what the company used to be like.
